Provides a table of job class codes that have a base rate and overtime rate
associated with the job code where you can specify up to 9999 job classes.

You assign the job class code to the individual employee in the MM-E enter
employees window.
|
|
We have modified the AM-E terms table window where you can specify a second and
third shift differential (additional amount per hour an employee is paid above the
base rate).
|
|
The program will then calculate the rate of pay for each employee:
|
|
Shift 1 regular rate (defined by job class code table),
|
|
Shift 2 rate (base rate plus shift 2 differential),
|
|
Shift 3 rate (base rate plus shift 3 differential),
|
|
Overtime rate (1.5 times applicable shift 1, 2 or 3 rate), and
|
|
Double time rate(2 times applicable shift 1, 2 or 3 rate).
|
|
During labor entry process (AW-F) the program will:
|
|
Default to the employee job class code from the MM-E entry,
|
|
Allow the user to change to any valid job class code to allow for an
employee performing tasks in another
job class code,
|
|
Calculate the appropriate shift wage rate from the job class code, plus either
Shift 2 or Shift 3 differential
from the table,
|
|
Calculate using the overtime/double time flags an hourly rate at 1.5 or 2.0 times
the base rate, as defined
by the designation of the job class code AND shift code.
|
|
Print a payroll report to use for processing payroll for a range of dates, sorted
by employee name and number,
that shows: **
|
|
Cumulative number of hours by each pay rate,
|
|
The rate per hour for each of those rate types above,
|
|
Grand total of all hours and grand total payroll cost per employee,
|
|
Grand total of all hours and grand total payroll for all employees.
